How good it is that they had that distracting conversation, because Theo's dad is in the kitchen. He seems to be busy with some work on his laptop, but looks up briefly when Theo and Sadde enter the kitchen.

Theo grabs some food. Nom.

Seriously? Theo's dad won't even... like? Do something? Theo had been naked there and Sadde had been very visibly at-least-shirtless and?

Apparently not.

Maybe they'll have a conversation about it some other day?

Whatever the reason, Theo's glad for the lack of interrogation.

Sadde is a bit concerned that this might spell trouble once he's gone and the two of them have had time to talk about it without him there.

Theo smiles at Sadde reassuringly. It won't be too bad; his dad already gave him The Talk, so he had to expect something like this would happen eventually.

In his house? With him around? Well, maybe Laura isn't that unique about it, then.

Maybe the talk will be about that, then. Theo can just imagine it now: Hey, son, I'm okay with you fucking him, but can you please just keep it to while I'm not in the house?

(It wouldn't go quite like that.)

Or maybe Theo's dad just doesn't want to embarrass Theo in front of his... friend.

Theo notices he's been quiet for quite a while, and says, "So, um... Done anything interesting at school?"

Sadde laughs at that. "Not really. It's just school. Hung out with friends, watched boring easy classes. That stuff. You?"

"Nah, we're not doing much right now. Just looking over some of the pre-release stuff for the English Language exam, and we've practically finished the maths course already, so it's all really boring."

"Sounds it."

Well, Theo's done eating. Is Sadde done too?

Yup, he is.

Well then, after clearing away the dishes, they can go back up to his room.

Yes, they can.

And once back in his room, Sadde closes Theo's door and pushes him against the wall, because apparently he liked that enough that it made him notice his feelings.

Kero clears his throat.

Theo reciprocates the kiss. Mm-

-and then he jumps. "Yeah, what?"

Sigh. And it was so nice while it lasted.

"There is a Clow Card active."

"Ugh! Do you know where?"

Turns out he really doesn't like kisses to be interrupted. Who'd've guessed?

"No."

"...is it destroying anything?"

"I don't know."

"Should I try meditating then? I'm not sure I'm gonna get any more detail than you, but we can't do anything about it if we don't know where it is."

"You could try that, your meditation is less limited than mine."

"Okay then," he says. He gets the Key out of his jacket pocket, activates it into its staff form, then sits down, trying to focus on his magic.

... He's a bit distracted. This might take a while.

...Sadde's annoyed. Look at him, being annoyed. Why does the apocalypse have to get in the way of snogging? This is unacceptable. But he resists the temptation of distracting Theo.
