"Weird... but not all that worrying," Krian says thoughtfully.

Krian considers possibilities. He even considers the possibility that Thar was meant to be at a mental hospital and escaped. But that alternatively is clearly ridiculous.

"Maybe Thar's dad lied to her," Krian says, more to himself than to Kay, just brainstorming out loud, "not sure why. These people are strangers, though, and we shouldn't meddle in their business, Kay."

"It's not meddling if you say it's for their own good."

Then in response to Krian's glare he adds. "With a strong emphasis on good."

Krian stares at him dryly.

Kay smiles back and hugs his cousin. The rest of the day proceeds normally and soon they go to bed and fall asleep.

And someone wakes up at night confused.

He wanders around the house. Eventually he reaches Kay's room and sits on the bed.

"Huh? Krian?"

Silence.

Kay sits up. "Is there a problem?"

More silence.

"Well, if you aren't going to say anything, you should go to bed and sleep."

This makes him think and then nod.

But instead of standing up and leave to the room, he climbs into the bed and cuddles up with Kay.

...

Okay, not that cuddling isn't nice, but... Kay shakes Krian to make sure he's awake. Sure, Krian's eyes are open before, but maybe this is some kind of sleepwalking or something.

He is shook and looks at Kay confused.

He tilts his head, apparently distracted by something on Kay's face.

"Are you even awake? Do you want something? Something I can give you?"

Another confused expression, then he nods.

"Well, tell me and I will give it to you?" Kay says maybe a bit dryly.

He thinks then nods.

He shows Kay what he wants.

...

That is extremely tempting, but Kay starts pushing Krian away and says "Huh, later when it's day and you are not acting like a sleepwalker."

He looks confused, but walks away.

Next morning, Krian wakes up feeling very tired.

Kay got less sleep last night, but isn't all that tired. He waits until his mom finishes her meal to ask, "Did you get any sleep after... what happened last night?"

"Last night?"

"Last night you walked into my room in the middle of the night..." Kay puts his voice just above a whisper, "don't you remember wanting things from me?"

Krian raises his eyebrows.

"You... dreamed of that."

"Did not. It felt real."
